A unique take on Robotic Mowers

Review Summary

Cleva's LawnMaster brand is taking a different approach to robot mowers. This is for the small garden. The really small garden! And so they've cut some features that aren't usually needed, and added some latest generation features that are super useful.

Let's start with a generous battery size for 4 hours continual mowing and a fast charge time of 1 hour! This is much better than most mowers out there. Additionally, the mower is Drop & Mow. That means no boundary wire (hooray!) and the mower instead relies on it's camera + ultrasonic sensors. This in turn means it needs a clearly defined lawn edge, so if you have a fence or distinct flower bed/patio then you're good, ideally a raised border is best. We definitely wouldn't recommend for gardens with ponds!

So far, so good. It does have a shared battery system with other lawnmaster products, which we like, and multiple height settings for mowing. There's no rain sensor, but the mower is designed to cut 3 times a week rather than every day so this may be less of an issue. It can only handle a 19 degree slope, but this isn't usually a problem in such a small space. It also has no app, no wifi, no bluetooth, no GPS - it just mows. Set it up and leave it alone. However, the best news is the price - this thing is seriously cheap for a robot mower!

Overall we love this unique take on small lawn size mowing, and we love the price! If you've a smaller new-build garden, this could be just the mower you need.
